Enjoy this 35-second sneak preview
Dear Friends: I would be honored if you came to see me be an Evil Space Queen, :-) Feeling absolutely thrilled for this role debut of the infamous Queen of the Night and I am excited to attempt one of the most difficult coloratura soprano roles that Mozart ever wrote- it has been a lot of work! And even better, this version of The Magic Flute is guaranteed to be nothing like any Magic Flute you've ever seen before. It is a world premiere of a totally new English translation, adapted to a fun story involving plenty of Sci-Fi references, (it works) written by my friends at Petite Opera Productions. You have four chances to see my cast, starting this weekend! -And, if you can not make it to the nights that I perform- I encourage you to see the production's equally fantastic other cast! Our casts' performance dates are circled below. November 7th (7:30 pm), 13th, (7:30 pm) 15th, (4 pm) & 21st (7:30 pm) - Purchase tickets ahead of time online, or purchase at the door with cash or check. (no credit cards at the door) Be early because parking is tricky...! I have a friend organizing a group discount rate for tickets for the performance on Sunday the 15th, if folks are interested- please let me know and I will send you the details. Show run time is approx. 2.5 hours (with an intermission). Venue is about 20-25 mins from Evanston. (basically straight west on Touhy) This family-friendly production is outta this world!
