WHEN & WHERE IS THE NEXT CLASS SESSION?
Family Music Together Class for children (0-5 yrs old) and their parents/caregiver are available in Evanston, Illinois at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center.

WINTER REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
 
8 classes held on Saturdays 9:30 - 10:15 AM
Start date: Jan 11 thru March 14 (* no class Sat Jan 18, or Feb 15)

Enrollment Fee 1st child: $158.40    (8 classes)
Fee for second child: $114.40
Third + child: FREE
If second child is 9 months or younger: FREE
Single baby 4 months and younger: FREE

Drop-in fee for 1 child/per class: $22.40 (spots are limited)
Drop-in fee for second child/sibling discount/per class: $16.40 
Fee for 3rd child, (or any sibling under 9 months): FREE
Fee for single baby under 4 months: FREE

Meet the Teachers:
​Rachel & Mariana

Rachel Sparrow is certified to teach K-12 instrumental & vocal music, also holds a Bachelor's degree of voice performance, and has earned a Master's at Northwestern University in Voice, and is now a certified Music Together teacher! She has taught children for over 13 years in her private voice, violin, ukulele, and piano studio as well as in classroom settings. Rachel has a music-loving toddler daughter, who sings and dances everyday. Rachel loves spreading the joy of music to babies, children, and families and knows that EVERYONE can sing~ they just have to unleash their potential. One of her favorite things to do, is to see someone (a caregiver or parent) who believes that they cannot sing, discover that they CAN indeed be musical! It's so much fun. Rachel just had her second child, baby boy-this past October.

~ Meet Mariana ~

​Mariana Matthewson a certified Music Together teacher, loves making music together with others! She is passionate about music, and making it accessible to everyone everywhere. She also loves playing with children and infants—early childhood development is an area of particular interest for her! Her primary instruments are cello and piano, and she is working towards her master’s degree in Music Education from Northwestern University. She received her Bachelor’s of Music at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA in Music Education with a focus in both cello and composition. In her spare time, she can be found knitting, cooking, traveling with her boyfriend, spending time with her friends and family, and hiking. Her favorite color is blue, she loves to laugh, and is always ready for a nice cup of coffee. She is so excited to be making music together with you!
We get to witness how music breaks the barrier of "toughness" in a quiet exterior-ed Daddy, how it melts away the timidity of a visiting grandparent, or enlivens the soul of an exhausted Mama. Music is so powerful. Relationships are powerful. And we were made for both. Music Together so effortlessly addresses our innate need for each other.
